Murcia Flights from Virgin Express

Virgin Express is pleased to announce the launch of two new routes. As from May 2005 the Belgian low fare carrier will start flying from Brussels to Murcia (Alicante South - Spain) and Catania (Italy).
The initial frequencies for the new destinations are set at three flights per week. Murcia will be flown on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flights to Catania will be operated on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Murcia, which is situated 60 kilometres South of Alicante Airport, is the 8th destination that the Belgian low fare carrier will serve on the Iberian peninsula and the Balearics. It is a pretty town located in the south of Spain, between the busy tourist resort areas of Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. Only four months ago Virgin Express added Valencia, which is located 125 km North of Alicante, to its network.
Catania will be Virgin Express' newest destination in Italy. Catania is the second largest city in Sicily and is becoming increasingly popular with tourists.
At present,Virgin Express offers flights from Brussels Airport to Athens, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Faro, Geneva, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Nice, Palma de Mallorca, Rome and Valencia. The Belgian low fare carrier also operates daily flights from Amsterdam to both Rome and Milan.
